CAUTION: Incense burner will get hot… Do NOT touch while in use.  Hand wash only.  Clean gently with mild dish soap, no abrasives, in order to preserve gold.  Do not clean in dishwasher.  Gold luster can wear with use, but when cared for properly will last a lifetime and beyond.
